Gabby Giffords
I don’t want to be the ass hole but I got to say it. Gabby Giffords is not brave, or a hero because she got shot in the face. Don’t get me wrong I feel bad for what happened to her but getting shot in the face doesn’t make you brave or courageous it makes you very unlucky.
On a similar note just because her husband didn’t leave her, it doesn’t make him brave or a good guy. He’s not supposed to leave his wife in the event of a tragedy, hence the “better or for worse” part of the wedding vow.
